Oftentimes, hillside properties boast the best views around – to maximize the wow factor of your surroundings, the Brandywine includes a 555-square-foot deck.
As you walk up to a very Craftsman-style porch, with tapered square columns, you’ll notice the stonework details around the home’s foundation – a long-lasting, low-maintenance design with charm to spare. Upon entering the home, you’ll see the dining room to your left, complete with built-in storage. To the right you’ll see double doors that lead to the den, a cozy room with even more built-in storage. If you walk straight forward, you’ll see descending stairs to your left before entering the vaulted great room. The great room opens to a cozy nook area, the perfect space for an informal kitchen table. An L-shaped kitchen with plenty of counter space is located next to the nook.
On the other side of the nook is the master bedroom and bath, which has twin sinks and a sleek shower. For added convenience, another half-bath is located off the kitchen, as is the laundry storage area, which opens to the garage and shop area. The garage of Craftsman house plan features 536 total square feet – plenty of space for avid tinkerers.
Should you choose to descend to the lower level, you’ll turn left at the bottom and into a recreation room with 9-foot ceilings. This is another location in the home that’s ideal for entertaining visitors – a wet bar is built into one end of the recreation room, with a wine cellar nearby for convenience. Continuing around the back of the lower level, you’ll enter a small hall area, off of which are two additional bedrooms and a bath with a full tub. An unfinished storage area is also found here. Overall, the Brandywine has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a spacious two-car garage.
