This luxurious home’s floor plan includes five bedrooms and five and a half baths, plus a vaulted office and secluded studio. The Harrisburg is perfect for work-at-home types who need a luxurious home with beautiful professional areas. Walls of picture windows create an airy, open feel in the Harrisburg, while natural stonework columns throughout provide an additional visual connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Let’s take an imaginary tour of this lovely, roomy home.
Entering the foyer through impressive double doors, the light and open feel of the Harrisburg is immediately clear. A skylight roof system extending like a backbone down the home’s main corridor provides plenty of natural light. As we enter the home, we enjoy a clear view of the backyard through the vaulted sunken living room; a raised planter gracefully divides the spaces. Here in the center of the Harrisburg’s X-shaped floor plan, we find the vaulted office with double doors and a vaulted guest room to the left. To the right of the foyer and vaulted living room are a vaulted dining room in front, and the gorgeous, spacious kitchen facing the back.
The kitchen is open to a vaulted family room/games room. As in many rooms of the Harrisburg, a light/plant shelf near the vaulted ceilings adds levity, while media built-ins add graceful storage. Continuing down this wing, we enter a vaulted porch complete with built-in barbecue and, at the end of the wing, a vaulted and very private studio.
Walking back the way we came, we find a mudroom leading to the three-car garage. The entryway room has a bench, a large cloak closet, and a half bath.
As we retrace our steps down the vaulted gallery hallway, we stop to appreciate the raised and recessed planters which add visual interest in the front of the Harrisburg. Crossing through the foyer, we find a front-facing vaulted guest room on the left, and an office through double doors on the right. An extra full bath next door allows the office to double as an additional sleeping space.
The final two wings of the Harrisburg contain three bedrooms and a playroom in front and a rear-facing master suite in its own wing. Starting with the anterior bedrooms, we appreciate how each one has its own toilet and sink. (Two of the bedrooms here share a shower tub, while the front bedroom has its own full bath.) A vaulted playroom with built-in storage provides a communal space for these three bedrooms.
Moving on to the master suite, we are stunned at the beauty of the master bedroom. Light/plant shelves extend down two sides of the vaulted private retreat, while a sliding door provides access to the rear porch. In the master bath, we find twin sinks, a private toilet room, and a gorgeous corner spa surrounded by windows. The enormous master walk-in closet takes up the rest of this wing.
From entertaining to working to relaxing with family, the Harrisburg can graciously accommodate all of your needs.
